Patient-Centered Communication and Care Coordination Research Scientific Program Area
The mission of this Scientific Program Area is to stimulate and support innovative research on cancer-related communication and cancer care coordination in clinical systems.
We pursue this mission by engaging researchers, clinicians, patients and other stakeholders to identify high priority topics within this Program Area and to help set the agenda for future research efforts. We also work closely with both the Product Development and Implementation Science Research group and the Designing for Diffusion Research in order to optimize the real-world impact of research projects as CCRC studies reach fruition.
We are most closely affiliated with the mission of the National Cancer Institute Health Communication and Informatics Research Branch.
