Health Literacy and Cancer Prevention: Do People Understand What They Hear?

The specific aims of this study are to:

1. develop and validate a psychometrically sound test of Health Literacy-Oral.

2. investigate the relationship between health literacy-oral and cancer prevention behaviors.

3. develop and test recommendations for improving oral communication about cancer prevention and screening.
