Assessing the Quality and Outcomes of Physician-Patient Communication about Prostate Cancer Screening

Specific aims are:

1. to describe the quality of the prostate cancer screening decision-making process used by primary care patients and their physicians.

2. to evaluate the patient, provider and contextual characteristics associated with informed decision-making processes and test completion.
