Pilot Projects

The Developmental Core of the CCRC funds one year pilot projects of <$50,000 through a competitive process. Awards are made annually.

Projects awarded to date are:

1. Colorectal Cancer Screening Health Communication, Health Literacy, and Acculturation for Latinos in a Managed Care Organization

2. Increasing Parent Understanding of Cancer Treatment: Focusing on HoMeS

3. Assessing the Quality and Outcomes of Physician-Patient Communication about Prostate Cancer Screening
